Violas – Penny

Bright, fragrant, and unbelievably floriferous—Penny Violas bring jewel-tone color from fall through early spring. The Penny series is bred for uniform mounding plants, tons of blooms, and excellent cold + rain tolerance, making it a favorite for Southern winters. Flowers are small but abundant, often self-cleaning (less deadheading), so beds and containers stay fresh with minimal fuss.

Choose flats for economical, mass plantings that knit into a seamless carpet along borders, walkways, and landscape beds. Choose 4" pots for fuller plants that establish fast and give instant pop in porch planters, window boxes, and entry accents. Plants stay tidy—about 4–6" tall and 8–12" wide—and thrive in full sun to part sun (morning sun with a little afternoon shade is ideal in Middle Georgia).
